The program offers an overnight trip for an outstanding tourism package to experience attractions in the local areas, and is designed to invigorate the tourism industry in the local regions.

On the day, foreign tourists took photos with Jang Yong-ho and Yun Ok-hee, Olympic gold medalists in archery, and were offered archery classes with expert instructors.

Brad Lee, a 39-year old Canadian who visited North Gyeongsang Province with his wife, said, “During the trip to North Gyeongsang Province, where Korean culture is preserved, I hope to make good memories with my wife. I have great expectations especially for Andong Hahoe Village, where Queen Elizabeth of the U.K. also visited.”

Jeon Hwa-sik, director of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in North Gyeongsang Province, said, “By expanding the K-Travel Bus program, a free bus travel package between Seoul and local provinces, we will provide the convenience of moving between local provinces for the foreign individual tourists, while offering an overnight trip for quality tourism course and experiencing the content of the local areas with a free bus travel package. We will make every effort to boost the tourism business in North Gyeongsang Province.”
