Hanssem Co., the nation’s leading total home interior company, held a signing ceremony on Aug. 20 as an official sponsor in the furniture sector for the 6th CISM World Games Korea, which will take place in Mungyeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, or North Gyeongsang Province, on Oct. 2.
At 11 am on Aug. 20, Hanssem Co. President Park Seok-jun, its Vice President Lee Young-sik, and the 6th CISM World Games Korea 2015 Organizing Committee Chairman Kim Sang-ki attended the ceremony held at the Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps in Mungyeong to promise cooperation and support for the successful hosting of the first CISM World Games in Korea.
Under the sponsorship agreement, Hanssem will provide 50,000 beds, player lockers, bedding articles, and other items to the CISM World Games athlete's village in Mungyeong.
Meanwhile, the 6th CISM World Games Korea 2015, a sports festival of soldiers around the world, will be participated in by 7,800 soldiers from 110 countries across the world, and be held in 30 stadiums in Mungyeong and nearby cities in North Gyeongsang Province, from Oct. 2 to 11. Unlike other sports competitions, the Games consist of 24 sports that suit the distinctiveness of soldiers, including high altitude drops and hurdle races.
Hanssem supplied beds, furniture, and podiums to the athlete and media villages for the 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014. With the 6th CISM World Games Korea 2015 this time, the company is becoming a common sponsor of international events.
