Armor Export
Samsung Techwin is going to sign a contract within this month to export 120 units of the K-9 self-propelled gun to Poland.
According to the contract, Samsung Techwin will export only the frame, before it is assembled with a turret manufactured in Poland.
Samsung Techwin already shipped out 350 K-9s to Turkey in 2001 on a technology transfer basis. At that time, Turkey paid license fees to be supplied with components and the manufacturing techniques and develop the T-155.
