Fast Channel Tech
CJ HelloVision announced on Dec. 2 that it released UHD premium set-top boxes, an improved version of existing UHD set-top boxes, that use a cloud interface and fast channel change (FCC) tech.
This service has eliminated the waiting time that occurs when users manipulate menus or change channels.
The most notable characteristic of this service is the cloud UI. The cloud system overcomes the limits of UI speeds that existing set-top boxes can offer. As a result, two-way services have become easier to use.
Its TV-watching features are also strengthened. The introduction of the FCC method has eliminated the one to two seconds of delay that occurs when people switch channels.
