On Sept. 1, KT Media Hub announced that it has released a “prime movie pack” on Olleh TV Mobile. It is now possible to watch 10,000 movies and drama series via mobile devices.
The prime movie pack is a product where people can watch movies or American television dramas by paying 14,900 won (US$14.64) each month. In addition to movies and U.S. dramas, Chinese and Japanese dramas and animations are provided as well.
Olleh TV Mobile will waive the first month's membership fees to celebrate the launch of the new service. KT Media Hub explained that it will be economically beneficial for customers to subscribe to the service if they watch more than four movies or American dramas every month on mobile devices.
Park Min-kyu, head of KT Media Hub's mobile TV business, remarked, “Currently, Olleh TV Mobile is exclusively providing foreign dramas such as House of Cards, Blacklist, and Skins.” He concluded by saying, “We are trying to enhance the competitiveness of our service by securing exclusive content offered by only Olleh TV Mobile, including movies, foreign dramas, and animations.”
